Storage Facility - Our Units:

Our storage units are brick built with a tin roof. There are no windows, electricity or water and only one lock up roller door per unit. They look similar to a typical garage.

Storage Security Measures

Our storage units are off site and extremely secure. All the units are beam alarmed, surrounded by a 6 foot wall with electric fence. There is also an electric gate and a 24 hour armed guard. In the past 3 years we have not had any break ins.

Depending on the amount of goods that needs to be stored, the units are either shared or for bigger storage's a whole unit is given per customer. All the goods are wrapped and clearly marked / labeled at the customers house. When the truck arrives at the storage facility the storage manager makes a detailed inventory of all the goods offloaded before it gets packed away in the unit. The storage manager is the only one with access to the units and she also has the only set of keys.

 

Please take note of the following terms and conditions:

  1. Storage fees are payable 1 (one) month in advance
  2. Interest will be added to all overdue accounts @ 2% per month
  3. Accounts that are 90 (ninety) days or more in arrears will be handed over to our attorneys for legal action which complies with the consumer act WITHOUT ANY FURTHER NOTICE.
  4. Goods in storage will not be released until all storage fees, as well as the re-delivery fee, has been paid in full and has CLEARED INTO OUR ACCOUNT
  5. Should goods be required from storage whilst being held at our facility, a minimum notice period of 2 days should be given in writing
  6. A handling fee will then be charged per hour for the extraction of any of your goods from the storage facility as we have to book out staff to unpack the unit. If an appointment has been made and you do not arrive, a handling fee WILL STILL BE CHARGED
  7. Our storage facility if CLOSED OVER WEEKENDS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS, therefore there will be no re-delivery of storage over weekends and public holidays
  8. Should your debit order be returned paid a R57.00 penalty fee will be charged
  9. Should your goods be re-delivered after the 10th of a month, a full months storage will be charged
  10. There will be a yearly increase of 15% on all storage accounts
  11. All goods coming into storage must be wrapped in either plastic, bubble wrap or airo kraft
  12. Boxes are being packed on top of each other in the unit, therefore it is very important to use a very strong box which must be well taped. We recommend at least a double wall box
